The Music Academy @ First is excited to launch a High School Handbell
Choir beginning in late September! This ensemble is open to all high school
students who enjoy music and want to be part of a fun, welcoming group.
Whether you've been involved in band, choir, orchestra, piano, or
have never played handbells before, we'd love to have you join us!
Rehearsals: Sundays 7:00-8:00 p.m.
at the Music Academy @ First located

Our rehearsals are designed to be encouraging, engaging, and enjoyable for students of all experience levels.

and equipment needed for rehearsals and perfomances!

Why Handbells?
Handbell ringing is a unique musical experience that teaches:
Teamwork and collaboration
Music reading and musicianship
Rhythm and coordination
Responsibility and leadership
Confidence through performance
Who Can Join?
Any student currently in high school
Students from any school, homeschool program, or private school are welcome
Some musical experience is helpful, but not required
No auditions! Everyone is welcome.
Performances
Throughout the year, the High School Handbell Choir will perform at:
Community events, Holiday concerts, Music Academy events, and Special performances throughout the Siouxland area
These performances provide students with opportunities to share their musical talents while serving the community.
