Eleanor May-Patterson

Eleanor May-Patterson grew up in a large musical family. She received her B.A. in Music from Augustana University and her M.M.  from the University of South Dakota. She has been a 4-12 Strings Teacher in Sioux Falls, a Strings Specialist in the Clark County Schools (Las Vegas), and the Sioux City Community Schools. She has been on the faculties of Northwestern College, Northeastern University and Morningside University. She has performed as a violinist and violist with the SD Symphony, SC Symphony, Las Vegas Symphony, Las Vegas Chamber Orchestra and the Dakota Quartet. She is the manager and performer in the Arioso Quartet. Retiring after 37 years, she continues to teach at the Music Academy at 1st.
